10.11 Setting the loop monitoring

This menu item allows the loop monitoring to be set.

Code = With this code the alarm control centre lets you test whether the loop has the right resistance
value.
0 = Loop monitoring off (factory setting)
1 = Loop monitoring on
Explanation:
0 = Every loop which is not functioning correctly (e.g. a sensor is activated or a circuit break ahs
occurred) is deactivated after the exit delay time. The error in the individual loops is shown on
the corresponding loop optical display (LED) on the control panel.
It is recommended that you analyse and fix any error in the corresponding loop.
1 = if you have set the code to 1 and there is an error message for the loop, you cannot arm the
alarm control centre. The optical display ARM PROHIBITED and the corresponding LED lights
for the loop. If the exit delay time is passed and the error is still present, the ARM PROHIBITED
LED begins to flash.
If you have fixed the problem you can re-arm the alarm control centre by entering the corres-
ponding user code, the ARM PROHIBITED LED is no longer lit.
If there is still an error after the exit delay time is passed, then the remote control unit emits 5
signal tones to indicate the error
If a loop was deactivated during arming (ISOLATE button) (LED on the corresponding loop fla-
shes), the alarm control centre becomes armed despite the error message. A change in the
resistance in the loop will not however lead to the alarm being sounded.
The loop monitoring (ARM PROHIBITED LED) is lit the entire time during the exit delay period.
If the error is fixed during the exit delay period the alarm control centre arms and the ARM
PROHIBITED LED is no longer lit.
