This clamp supplies constant +12 V/DC when the alarm control centre
is armed.
The +12 V/DC is supplied by the alarm control centre during the delay
period and when armed.
It is recommended that this clamp is used as thepower supply
for movement sensors or smoke sensors (which are installed
in rooms where smoke could be given off).
Do not attach any movement sensors that have a lon-
ger warm-up phase to this clamp, as this can lead to false
alarms.
Clamps 3 and 4 have a total maximum loading capacity of
750 mA, otherwise the inbuilt fuse will trigger.
5 Ground (GND):

6 Operating voltage +12 V/DC (e.g. signalling device combinations):
This clamp supplies constant +12 V/DC until the alarm control centre
signals an alarm. The voltage of +12 V is pending while the centre is
switched off, during the delay time and in the armed condition.
It is recommended that this clamp is used to operate a certain
signalling device combination.
Use the corresponding operating instructions to help you
connect it correctly.
This signalling device combination is a complex system with
an inbuilt rechargeable buffer battery. It is permanently char-
ged via this connection.
If the alarm control centre sounds the alarm, this outlet shuts
down the +12 V supply. The signalling device combination
detects this and signals correspondingly. The power supply
to the signalling device combination is now provided by the
inbuilt rechargeablebuffer battery. The siren stops sounding
after the time set in the signalling device combination, while
the stroboscopic flashlight remains active until voltage sup-
ply is restored at clamp 6. This happens when the alarm con-
trol centre is disarmed.
This clamp has a total maximum loading capacity of 2.5 A, otherwise the inbuilt fuse will trigger.
