Installation
Before final installation, be aware of the fact that you need to connect the cables to the con-
tacts.
Make sure that there are no electrical cables, water pipes etc. near the place you want to drill.
Proceed as follows to ensure correct installation:
• Lever out the lower part of the housing carefully with a
suitable screwdriver.
• Use the holes in the lower part of the housing as a drilling
template and mark the position of the mounting holes.
• Drill the mounting holes.
• Attach the lower part of the housing with suitable installa-
tion material.
• Attach the upper part of the housing to the lower part.

7.1.5 Installing the magnet contacts

Installation location
The magnet contacts provided with the system are for se-
curing doors and windows. If the door or window is opened,
the magnet contact opens as well.
The magnet contact should be mounted in an upper corner
of the window or door.
Note that you must mount the magnet on the ope-
ning side of the window or door.
The contact sensor (with the connections) must
be mounted on the frame.
Installation
For simple installation use double-sided adhesive tape. Use
this to attach the magnet contact to the window and window
frame or door and door frame.
For a better attachment (also reduces the likelihood of a fal-
se alarm) it is recommendable to use screws to fasten the
magnet contact.
• Use this to drill the attachment holes (see figure on right).
• Drill the mounting holes.
• Screw the magnet contact firmly into place with four sui-
table screws.
