11.6 Silent alarm

Entering the silent alarm code activates the alarm control centre's telephone dialler. The telephone dialler
dials the programmed number and transmits the voice message / signal tones.
This code is generated by adding the value 2 to the first digit of user code.
Example:
The user code is 12345, the silent alarm code is 32345, or if the user code is 83210, then the silent alarm
code is 03210.
All 8 user codes allow the silent alarm code.
The silent alarm code only activates the alarm control centre's telephone dialler not its outputs.
Ensure that the telephone dialler is programmed or this code and setting will not function.
The alarm outputs will not be activated and no optical or acoustic signalling is carried out.
If the alarm control centre is armed, it is set to disarmed status.
If an alarm has been raised (LED is lit for a loop), it will be deleted.

11.7 Manual rechargeable battery test

You can test the attached rechargeable battery manually at any time, to see whether it has the required
voltage.
This option is only available if the alarm control centre is disarmed.
• Enter one of the 8 programmed user codes.

• Press the " " button.
• Press the "4" button.
• Press the "#" button for confirmation.
Particular advantages of the manual rechargeable battery check:
• Automatic rechargeable battery monitoring is deactivated, this allows the battery functionality to be
manually tested.
• You are using a new rechargeable battery and are unsure whether it has the required voltage.
• The "BATTERY" LED is lit and the rechargeable battery has been replaced with a fully charged new
battery. This deletes the optical display.
