9. Acoustic and optical displays

The control panel supplied has an acoustic and optical display to provide you with an overview of the wide
range of programming options. The display helps you to decide between incorrect and correct inputs and
makes the display easier in programming mode.

9.1 Acoustic alarm sounding

The inbuilt beeper in the control panel emits varying numbers of beeps and beeps of different lengths
which help you when programming and operating the device.
Beeper:
1 x short
2 x short
5 x short
1 x long
1 x short at 30 second intervals
Permanent at 30 second intervals
Permanent 5 x short at 5 second
2 x and 5 x

Meaning:
Button tone
Successful code entry
- code entry not permitted
- false code entry
- programming not permitted
- The time limit of 10 seconds between button presses has been
exceeded.
The exit delay time is passed => the alarm is armed
- operating voltage is no longer connected/supplied
- rechargeable battery charge is too low
- The exit delay time is passing
- The entry delay time is passing
- DAP-jumper is set to ON
The telephone line has been tested and found to have an inter-
vals error.
- Loop monitoring is activated and an error has been found in a
loop.
- Silent alarm code has been correctly entered but the telephone
dialler does not function.
