11. Operation

11.1 Arming the alarm control centre

You have two options for arming the alarm control centre.
Ensure that the alarm control centre is disarmed and that is has not sounded an alarm. If outputs are still
active (this can be the case for a panic alarm or a 24 hour loop), then these can be deactivated by entering
the user code and pressing the # button. Entering the user code and pressing the # button again arms the
alarm control centre.
In addition, no loop LED should be lit. To extinguish the LED refer to chapter "11.4.2 Deleting
Alarm Memory".

11.1.1 Arming the alarm control centre with exit delay

Usually the alarm control centre is armed and the set exit delay time passes. During this time (as program-
med) the corresponding loops are not yet armed.
• Enter one of the 8 programmed user codes.
• Press the "#" button for confirmation.
• The "EXIT/ARMED" LED flashes during the exit delay time (during this period of time the beeper on the
control panel may beep depending on the programming).
• Once the exit delay time has passed, the "EXIT/ARMED" LED is lit and the beeper is silenced.
• The alarm system is now armed.

11.1.2 Arming the alarm control centre without exit delay

This arming function should only be used if you do not activate a loop whilst leaving the building. For ex-
ample, you can use this function if the remote control is outside the living area.
Ensure also that the alarm control centre is disarmed and that is has not sounded an alarm. In addition, no
loop LED should be lit or flashing.
• Enter one of the 8 programmed user codes.

• Press the " " button.
• Press the "2" button.
• Press the "#" button for confirmation.
• The remote control unit emits two signal tones to confirm the correct entry and the "EXIT/ARMED" LED
is lit.
• The alarm control centre has switched to armed status without any exit delay period being observed.
