10.24 Activating / deactivating the telephone line monitoring function

The telephone line monitoring can be activated with this function.

Code = You activate/deactivate the telephone line monitoring with the code.
0 = Telephone line monitoring switched off
1 = Telephone line monitoring switched on (factory setting)
If code 0 is select then the telephone dialler dials 4 seconds after line access is gained (e.g. in case of
an alarm). It doesn't matter whether the alarm control centre is connected to a telephone line or not. No
telephone line monitoring is made after arming/disarming the alarm control centre either.
If the code is set to 1, then the alarm control centre checks the telephone line for 4 seconds after each
arming/disarming of the system. This is displayed by the DIALING LED. If the telephone line is functioning
correctly, the LED goes out. If the alarm control centre finds an error, the DIALING LED flashes and emits
an ongoing series of 5 signal tones. To delete this error you must find the line problem.
• Check whether the D.T. jumper is correctly inserted.
• Check whether the alarm control centre is correctly connected to the analogue telephone network.
To reset the signal tones and the flashing DIALING LED enter a user code once you have solved the problem.
The factory setting is telephone line monitoring off.

10.25 Activating loops for HOME mode

You can select certain sensor loops to be deactivated when the alarm is armed in HOME mode. These are
usually the loops whose sensors cause an alarm when you are in the normal living areas of your house.
This programming menu allows you to deactivate these loops. If a sensor connected to one of these loops
is activated, the alarm control centre in HOME mode (see operating instructions Chapter 6.2.2) doesn't
sound the alarm.
The alarm control centre must also be in programming mode in this case.

The factory setting does not contain loops which are deactivated for HOME mode.
E.g. in order to deactivate the loops 1, 2 and 3 in HOME mode, press the following buttons in the following
order:
"HOME" button, "1" button, "2" button, "3" button, "#" button
To delete a loop for HOME mode, you must re-enter the programming steps. Only the last programming of
HOME loops is applied.
To delete all loops, press the "HOME" button followed by the "#" button.
