2. Intended use

This alarm system set is designed to secure your belongings (e.g. for your apartment, house, garage, ho-
liday home, office etc).
In insurance terms these are referred to as "small" risks.
The 8 zone alarm system is not suitable for middle or high risks, as occur in securing businesses (e.g.
industrial buildings or production plants).
The alarm control centre reports unlawful entry through activation of the outlets provided to which you can
attach optical, acoustic or silent signal emitting components. The alarm control centre contains an internal
alarm dialler which allows you to send an emergency telephone call in the case of an alarm event (this
requires an existing telephone line connection).
Power is supplied via the mains power unit included in the delivery (16,5 V/AC, 3000 mA).
The mains power unit is suitable for operation on a mains socket of the public power grid rated to
230V~/50Hz (10/16 A) alternating voltage.
The alarm control centre is to be used in dry indoor locations only.
Any use other than the one described above is inadmissible and damages this product. Furthermore, there
are dangers such as fire, short circuit, electric shock etc.
All the components in the complete set may not be adjusted or modified.
Observe all safety instructions given these operating instructions.
