MSA501-S(RS485)
SIKONETZ3 interface
6 SIKONETZ3 interface
SIKONETZ3 protocol is a bus communication protocol based on interface
RS485.
Parameters: 19200 baud, no parity, 8 bit, 1 start bit, 1 stop bit
The SIKONETZ3 protocol is built as a master-slave system. The sensor has
only slave function. There are two different lengths of telegrams:
3 Byte:
Address
Byte
6 Byte:
Address
Byte
The address byte is composed as follows:
1
The test byte is generated as XOR-function of the telegram's preceding 2
or 5 bytes.
A0 ... A4: binary coded address 1 ... 31, address 0 is defined for master.
RR: broadcast bit = 1; command is valid for all devices, there will be no
answer to this command.
L: length bit: 1 = short telegram (3 byte); 0 = long telegram (6 byte)
