Service mode (RS485 mode)
Error state
1. Sensor-tape gap
2. Plausibility absolute value
3. Speed check (v >5 m/s)
4. Sensor-tape alignment
5. Verify error EEPROM
6. Checksum error EEPROM
7. Read/write error EEPROM
If several error states occur at the same time, the relevant flashing signals
will be added to form a sequence (e. g., red LED flashes 5x -> error states
1 + 3).
9 Service mode (RS485 mode)
After putting the sensor MSA501 into Service mode via the "Config" (GND)
input (see chapter 3), it can be parameterized or status information read
by means of a simple ASCII protocol via a terminal program.
For this purpose, connect the connection pins D+ and D- to a PC via a
RS485/RS232 converter. Transmission will be bidirectional.
