R
Function
-
Read position value
Instead of the position value, an error message (F03
[83h], illegal or unknown command) will be output if:
- the sensor is too distant from the tape,
- a plausibility error of the absolute value is disco-
vered,
- a speed error (travel speed >5 m/s) occurs.
-
Read calibration value
-
Read device identification
Data byte Low: device identification = 34 (22h);
Data byte Middle: firmware version;
Data byte High: hardware version
-
Read counting direction
Data byte Low = 00h: ascending numerical values
with sensor movement towards the connector,
Data byte Low = 01h: descending numerical values
with sensor movement towards the connector.
The state of the Middle and High data bytes is not
relevant.
-
Write calibration value
Value range: -8388608 ... 8388607
-
Write counting direction
Data byte Low = 00h: ascending numerical values
with sensor movement towards the connector,
Data byte Low = 01h: descending numerical values
with sensor movement towards the connector
The state of the Middle and High data bytes is not
relevant.
-
Programming mode "ON"
Programming mode must be "On" in order to enable
the use of the 28h, 2Dh and 48h commands!
-
Programming mode "OFF"
-
Read system status (Assignment of status bits: see
"Meaning of the status bits in the system status")
-
Delete system status
System status bytes 2 = data byte Middle and 3 = data
byte High are set to 0
-
Reset: position value is set to 0 + calibration value
R
Freeze position value
Position value is frozen. This state is reset by reading
the position value. With this feature it is possible to
read out several devices synchronized.
