3.5.3.1 Engine Oil Change
Follow the instructions stated in the motor operating instructions. Shorten the change interval to one half, if you are to use your machine
in a dusty environment.
Either remove the oil with the professional oil-collecting equipment or with the JANETTE type syringe (with the capacity of 150 ml) – Fig.
15 on page 92 - with the plastic hose on.
If you are not sufficiently manually skilled, have the operations done by an authorized service centre.
3.5.3.2 Gearbox Oil Change
Since replacement of the gearbox oil requires disassembling of some parts of the machine and special tools and preparations, you cannot
carry it out yourself. It is always necessary to have the authorized service centre do the work.
3.5.3.3 Lubrication Points
From a wide range of oils, any engine or gear oil or spray oil is suitable for lubrication. We recommend to use the so called white vaseline
spray; it penetrates well to apertures and does not lose lubricating properties for a long time. Sliding bearings require to be lubricated by a
lubricant with MoS and graphite admixture. However, its application usually requires the dismantling of the respective slide. Leave this work
to the authorized service.

3.5.4 Travel Clutch Tensioning Pulley Adjustment
If you are not sufficiently manually skilled, have the operations done by an authorized service centre.
If the travel mechanism of the machine starts failing under the load, it is possible that clutch drive belt slippage occurs. First, check
visually for any signs that the v-belt is greasy or for any visible ruptures or separated rubber parts.
The adjustment is done unscrewing the adjustment bolt
Fig. 11 on page 90 . Use 10 mm and 13 mm flat spanners.
1)
Secure the machine against movement, e.g. by putting two suitable wood pieces to the both sides of the wheels (to the front and
behind the wheel). Switch the bypass lever to the manual travel position.
2)
Start the engine and set its revolutions to the idle operation.
3)
Loosen the M6 nut with the 10 mm spanner
4)
Push the clutch lever and adjust the distance of 12 mm between the clutch lever and the bracket – see Fig. 13 on page 90.
5)

6)
Screw the adjustment screw in
7)
Tighten the M6 nut
8)
Press the travel clutch lever 5 times.
9)
Check whether the belt is stopped when the clutch lever is turned off. Is it moves, screw in the adjustment bolt by one turn and try
again.
If, after adjusting the pulley, the problem persists, the defect is situated in another part of the drive system and the inspection by an
authorized service centre is necessary.
At the moment when the adjustment bolt of the travel clutch pulley Bowden cannot be unscrewed any further or when
it is possible to hear grinding noises of the pulley, it is necessary to replace the belt.
3.5.5 V-Belt Change
Replace the V-belt with a new one
sufficiently by the operation that it can no longer be tensioned with its tensioning pulley.
Always have the authorized service centre do the v-belt replacement.
76
Use exclusively original spare parts. If you use belts from other manufacturers, proper operation of the drive cannot be guaranteed.
