1)
Cold engine: move the lever to the position
2)
Start the engine by pulling on the hand starter cord
3)
Leave the new or cold engine running until the revolutions of the engine are stable without fluctuations.
4)
After the engine has warmed up, move the lever to position
Do not leave the machine when starting the engine!
3.4.5 Connecting the Attachments
3.4.5.1 Connecting the Attachments to the Front
The tools – both active and passive – carried in the front of the machine are connected through four attachment points with M10 internal
threads that are placed in the side-walls of the lower frame of the machine -
The rear attachment points

. When disconnecting the tool from the carrier, they are entirely unscrewed and taken out.
Use only original screws delivered with the carrier and the tools. They have special guiding part that makes
putting of the screw into the thread easier and protects the threads in the frame of the carrier.
For tightening the attachment screws, use a bent ratchet wrench with 3/8" square drive and 12-point socket 15 mm – Fig. 14
on page 91 . Select the ratchet wrench with as low head as possible.
We recommend to lubricate the threads in the frame of the carrier with a lubricant that prevents the threads from seizing and
protects against corrosion (lubricants with addition of the graphite and copper used to lubricate moving parts of the disc brakes
– e.g. LOCTITE 8007).
Due to differences as regards the design of the attachable tools , the procedure of connecting the tool is described in the respective
operating instructions of each type of the tool.
3.4.5.2 Connecting the Attachments to the Rear of the Machine
The tools attached to the rear part of the carrier are connected by means of the hitch that is welded to the tube bumper -
page 87 . The tools are connected using the pin with the safety cotter pin. The Z-02 pin is not included in the supply of the
Hydro K
carrier; it is necessary to separately purchase it as accessories under the ordering No: 121001.

The ANV-200 single-axle trailer: place the eye between the lugs of the hitch on the tube of the carrier bumper; insert the pin to the
hitch from above

.
The AV-650 sulky: insert the double eye of the sulky to the lower lug of the hitch placed on the tube of the carrier bumper; insert the
pin to the hitch from above; it must always go through the both lugs of the hitch of the sulky!
To connect the sulky, never use the short pin contained in the sulky product package. This pin will not ensure the right
joining of the hitches and will damage the both hitches!
The pin must be always secured against falling out by the safety cotter pin!
3.4.6 Recommendations for the Winter Operation of the Machine
3.4.6.1 Operation of the Engine
Air filter: we recommend to take out the air filter insert. It will prevent the air filter from freezing. CAUTION: this applies only for the
engine operation in the dust-free environment!
Engine oil: replace the oil filling with SAE 5W-30 fully synthetic engine oil with the specification ACEA 3, VW 504.00/507.00.
3.4.6.2 Operation of the Machine
Before the winter season, thoroughly lubricate Bowden cables with oil repelling water and damp. You will prevent the operation from
becoming difficult or the wire from freezing in the Bowden.
After finishing the work, thoroughly clean the machine from the snow. It is especially necessary to perform the cleaning before you store
the machine in the tempered space and use it e.g. on the next day. The wetness inside the machine (caused by the melting snow) could
start freezing when the machine is operated again, which could impede the further use of the machine.
3.4.6.3 Storage
Do not store the machine in the environment where the temperature drops below 0° C (a basement is suitable, as well as e.g. a tempered
garage).
Before starting the engine of the machine that was stored at the temperature below -5° C, first let the machine warm up in the tempered
premises.
When operated in the conditions with the temperatures below -5° C, we recommend the following:

The engine startup instructions are described in detail in the engine operating instructions.
Additional two spare screws are part of the supplied tool.
