3.4.3.2 Attachment Drive Clutch Disengagement
Move your hand off the control lever
safety lock against unwanted and unexpected initiation of the drive
attached tool. The time needed to brake the tool depends on the type of the adapter and on the wear of the brake.
Do not hold or slow down the lever during its movement back to the default position. Always release the lever
quickly so that no slippage of the clutch plate and brake occurs.
The slippage always causes heating of the clutch lining, which negatively affects the service life of the clutch plate and
the axial bearing of the clutch. At the same time, the brake is exposed to excessive thermal stress and gets worn more
quickly.
3.4.4 Control Elements of the Engine and their Use

3.4.4.2 Fuel system
3.4.4.2.1 Auxiliary Fuel Tank
The machine is equipped with the auxiliary fuel tank (
litres. The fuel tank cap (

on Fig. 9 on page 89 ) is fitted with a thread (right) and with the bleeder.
The maximum height of the fuel level reaches the front edge of the lower part of the filling hole of the tank – marked by an arrow on Fig.
9 on page 89 .
When filling the tanks with fuel, do not use open fire and do not refuel in the confined non-ventilated premises –
danger of explosion of fuel vapours.
Do not overfill the tank; when the machine is tilted backwards the fuel may leak through the fuel cap bleeder.
When filling the fuel, make sure that no leak occurs and that you do not spill the fuel over the engine parts. If it
be to the contrary, dry the affected parts or wait until the petrol evaporates.
Screw the fuel tank cap as far as it is possible.
3.4.4.2.2 Fuel Valve

that is placed on the left side of the engine under the air filter. The valve van be set into three positions indicated by an arrow on
the rotary knob (for the positions when the valve is seen from the front, see Fig. 9 on page 89 ):
The arrow points to the right, marked with OFF – the fuel system is completely closed.
The arrow points upwards, engine silhouette – the engine uses the fuel from the engine tank.
The arrow points downwards, auxiliary tank silhouette – the engine uses the fuel from the auxiliary tank.
Due to a high portion of the BIO components in fuel, we strongly recommend to use the fuel alternately from the both
tanks. You will prevent the fuel in the tank that has not been used for a longer time from being spoiled.
When leaving the machine unattended, when transporting the machine or when parking or storing it always turn the
fuel valve knob to the position
3.4.4.3 Engine Starting
First of all, thoroughly read the engine operating instructions
When starting the engine, both control levers (
not be pushed onto the handle) and the speed selector control lever must be in the neutral position ("N")!
