8.4. Connection to a boiler.
For appliances fitted with an internal heat exchanger that will be coupled to a boiler, it is necessary
to connect the boiler to the water heater. In this configuration, the water heater sends the heating command
to the boiler.
The boiler must be wired to the CS terminal on the PCB. The signal must not exceed 1 A 230 V+/-10% 50 Hz.
The connection to the boiler is specific to each installation and should be the subject of a study.
If the water heater does not control the boiler as described above, it is possible to recover
the domestic hot water sensor from the boiler and insert it in the slot provided on the water heater
(see diagram below).
Caution: in this case, please refer to paragraph "10.3.1.2. Coil connection" to configure the function.
Simultaneous operation of the heat pump and heat exchanger may damage the product.
It is therefore essential to use the heat pump in time slots when the boiler is not available
(to do this, use the heat pump's time programming mode)
We do not recommend installation with an uncontrolled boiler, as this would reduce the
performance and longevity of the product.
