You can secure your appliance to prevent children from
accidentally switching it on or changing the settings.
9.1 Activating the child safety lock
Requirement: The appliance is switched off.

You can configure the basic settings for your appliance
to meet your needs.
10.1 Overview of the basic settings
Here you can find an overview of the basic settings and factory settings. The basic settings depend on the features
of your appliance.
Display Basic setting
Signal duration upon completion of a cooking time or
timer period
Waiting time until a setting is adopted
Button tone that sounds when a button is touched
Brightness of the display illumination
Time display
Interior lighting during operation
Cooling fan run-on time
Reset all values to factory settings
10.2 Changing the basic settings
Requirement: The function selector is set to the off pos-
ition.
Press and hold for approx. 4 seconds.

Turn the temperature selector to change the setting.

Press and hold for approx. 4 seconds to confirm

You can activate the demo mode only in the first
5 minutes after connecting to the power supply.

after a power cut.
10.3 Setting energy-saving mode

You can save energy by reducing the display bright-
ness.
You can set the display brightness under basic
setting
Note: This setting changes the brightness of the display
while the appliance is in operation. In standby mode, the
appliance automatically reduces the display brightness.
The display is at its dimmest at night, between the hours
of 22:00 and 05:59.
