DANGER
The product and the packaging material are not
children's toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or suffocating!
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the machine and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier and
manufacturer must be informed immediately. Later
claims will not be recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the machine by means of
the operating instructions before using for the first
time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original spare parts. Spare
parts can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide the article number
as well as type and year of manufacture for your
machine.
10. Assembly
Tool required:
• 1x needle nose pliers*
• 1x ring spanner, size 13/18 (14)
*may not be included in the scope of delivery
10.1 Fitting the wheels (10) (Fig. 3)
1. Slide a 20 mm washer (10a) onto the wheel axle
(10c).
2. Fit the transport wheel (10) onto the wheel axle
(10c).
3. Now add the second 20 mm washer (10a) onto the
wheel axle (10c).
4. Insert the split pin (10b) vertically into the holes in
the wheel axle (10c). Bend the split pin (10b) apart
using needle-nose pliers* to secure the wheel (10).
5. Repeat the steps with the other wheel (10).

10.2 Fitting the swivel frame extension (3a) (Fig. 4)
1. Align the holes in the swivel frame extension (3a)
with the holes in the feed rocker (3).
2. Fit the swivel frame extension (3a) using the en-
closed carriage bolts M6 x 10 mm (3c) and the
collar nuts M6 (3b).
10.3 Fitting the connection port (extraction) (11)
(Fig. 5) (optional accessory)
1. Align the connection port (extraction) (11) with the
holes in the protective flap (7).
2. Secure the connection port (extraction) (11) with
the enclosed wing screws M5 (11a) and the 5 mm
washers (11b).
10.4 Stowing size 13/18 ring spanner (13) (Fig. 6)
1. Insert the size 13/18 ring spanner (13), with the
smaller spanner end first, into the slotted hole pro-
vided.
11. Before commissioning
m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
• Make sure that the machine is stable on solid ground
during assembly. The feet must not be left hanging.
• The workplace must be well lit.
• The area around the machine must be free of trip
hazards.
• Check the swivel frame. This must return from the
work position to the starting position automatically.
• Follow the safety instructions.
• All safety devices and aids must be installed.
• Check that the saw blade is properly seated and that
the running direction is correct.
• Carry out a functional check before starting work.
• The saw is designed exclusively for cross-cutting
firewood.
• Regardless of the wood diameter, only one piece with
a min. Ø 30 mm may be placed on the swivel frame.
• The wood to be sawn must not be fixed by hand.
• Only carry out modifications, adjustments, measure-
ments and cleaning work with the engine switched
off. Wait for the rotating tool to stop and disconnect
the mains plug.
