One meter of vertical vent pipe is always required first.
Then a passagewith two 45-degreebends is permitted up
to the maximum length of 12 meters. The roof vent unit is
not included in this calculation.
Note!All bends are to be included when calculating the
horizontal length.

First make a drawing. Calculatethe horizontal pipe length
and the total length of the supply pipe needed. One meter
of vertical vent pipe is always required first.

For intake/exhaust through an existing chimney, the
following conditions must be satisfied.
The maximum total length is 12 meters.

3. The flue must be clean and airtight.
4. A bend is permitted, but you must add 2 meters to the
horizontal length for two 45-degree bends.
