WARNINGS / SAFETY:
Caution! There are dangers associated with the use of this stove. To avoid injury, read, understand and follow all in-
structions and warnings in this manual before using the stove. Keep this manual in a safe place and read it regularly
before each use to understand its contents. Failure to follow the instructions or fuel spillage is a serious fire
hazard and poses a risk of property damage, injury and death.
1. Please check that the connection and all screws are screwed tight. Do not connect the gas cartridge or fuel bottle
until you are sure the stove is ready for use.
2. Do not use indoors. This applies to the tent, vehicle or other enclosed space. Carbon monoxide poisoning can
cause serious injury or even death. Ensure there is adequate ventilation.
3. If there is a smell of gas, check the stove for a gas leak. Do not use the gas stove if you hear it hiss or detect a
leak.
4. Make sure that the stove is on a level surface.
5. Never hold your head or body over the gas stove during lighting or while it is burning. Keep clothing and other
flammable materials away from the stove. Minimum distance upwards 1.25 m and to the sides at least 0.3 m.
6. Never disconnect the stove from the gas cartridge or fuel bottle during operation. Do not remove the cartridge
/ fuel bottle while the stove is still warm or near a flame or heat source. If you forget to close the control knob,
ventilate the area thoroughly before lighting the stove.
7. Use suitable cookware with a maximum weight of 20 kg and a maximum diameter of 24 cm.
8. Do not allow children to use the stove. Do not leave the stove unattended during use.
9. Only use the stove as described in the instructions. Only use original spare parts. Before taking the stove on a
long trip, check for fuel leaks and practice using and maintaining it.
FUEL TYPES:
1. Gas cartridges (propane-isobutane-butane mixture) is the ideal fuel for the stove. Gas cartridges are easy to
use, do not require preheating, are efficient, environmentally friendly with no soot formation and require almost
no maintenance and servicing.
2. Pure petrol burns cleanly and leaves almost no deposits in the fuel system. Vehicle petrol (use only unleaded
petrol) can be used in exceptional cases. Be aware that vehicle petrol contains additives that are hazardous to
health and also leaves deposits in the fuel system. Frequent cleaning of the stove is necessary.
3. Paraffin is available worldwide, but burns with more soot, is more difficult to preheat and may require frequent
cleaning.
OPERATION WITH FUEL BOTTLE:
Important! The O-rings and pump seal are extremely important for the safe operation of your stove. Before oper-
ating your stove, make sure that the O-rings and pump seal are in good condition and free from damage and wear.
1. Open the fuel bottle cap by turning it anticlockwise and remove the cap. Fill with commercially available fuel.
Important! Fill up to a maximum of the filling line marked on the bottle (fig. A)!
2. Screw the pump hand-tight into the fuel bottle (fig. B). Make sure that the thread of the pump is not jammed or
damaged. Connect the fuel hose to the pump. Make sure that the fuel regulator (22) is fully closed. Then, with the
fuel bottle fully filled, pump the plunger 15-20 times. Note: The less fuel in the bottle, the more pump strokes are
needed to build up the pressure.
3. Now turn the pot supports (12) to the set-up position. Place the fuel bottle on a flat and stable surface so that the
fuel regulator (22) of the fuel pump is facing downwards. Make sure that the hose is facing away from the stove
and cannot come into contact with the flame or hot exhaust gases. Keep the fuel bottle away from the heat of
the stove. Open the fuel regulator slightly (+). Let the nozzle spray out fuel for about 2 seconds and close the fuel
regulator (22) again.
