Start-up
Setting the gas volume
Gas compact unit CG115-VT2
Setting the gas compact unit
· Release the locking screw at the
measuring point (2), connect the
pressure measuring device
· Open gas manual locking valve,
· turn on heat generator. The burner
starts with part-charge (level 1)
· Check ionisation current (flame
signal): min. 8 µA
· If there is no flame signal, then adjust
zero offset N (4)
– turn in - direction in the event of
lack of air
– turn in + direction in the event of
excess air
Carry out CO control measurement
· Use the heat generator's thermostat
to proceed to level 2.
· Gradually set the burner in level 2 to
approx. 90% of the required burner
output Q
and also measure CO,
B
CO
and gas volume flow V
2
· Set the transmission ratio V
according to the waste gas values (3)
– reduce V in the event of lack of air
– increase V in the event of excess
air.
Operative ranges permissible:

Ionisation current measurement
After removing the clip (1) the ionisation
current is measured at the appropriate
measuring point. Multimeters with a
measuring range of 0 - 100 µA should
be used.

Check or set waste gas values
· Return from level 2 to level 1 and set
zero offset (4)
– reduce N in the event of lack of air
– increase N in the event of excess a
Check or set waste gas values
· Set the burner at level 2. Measure
waste gas values and gas volume
flow V
, adjust the burner if required
G
· According to output requirement limit
the level 2 limit switch (full-charge) on
the air valve actuator
· Return from level 2 to level 1
(part-charge), measure gas volume
flow V
. Limit level 1 using the limit

switch until the required output is
reached.
Setting the gas pressure control
device (5)
· Set the gas pressure control device

to the minimum anticipated input flow
pressure.
· Slowly close the gas ball valve.
· The burner must switch off due to
lack of gas pressure.
· Reopen gas ball valve.
