Setting the air volume
Air flap and air intake guide
After detaching the burner plate (undo 6
fastening screws (6) approx. 5-6 turns),
there is free access to the air valve and
the air intake guide.
The locking pressure of the air flap is
supported with a recuperator spring (7).
Depending on site conditions (strong
vaccum in the furnace, rotated
assembly of the burner) the spring can
be attached to one of the three eyelets
and thus the locking pressure can be
altered.

Setting the air volume
The setting of the air flap is controlled
using an electric motor actuator.
– Control cam level 1 (1)
– Control cam level 2 (2)
The setting of the control cams is
performed manually with the dumb-bell
shaft (3) held with an SW 10 fork
wrench.
The air flap setting is read from the
scale (4).
The optimization of the combustion
values level 2 is performed via the
thrust face air speed regulation. This
must not be altered after adjustment. A
The thrust face air speed regulation
is performed through turning the control
spindle (5), so that the gas head is
pushed into the flame tube.
Here the flame form can be adapted to
the respective furnace.
The air intake guide (8) in the normal
position (N) guarantees max. fan
compression. Where required (strong
vaccum in the furnace chamber and low
output), the compression can be
reduced through adjusting the air intake
guide.

post-adjustment level 1 is only
performed on the control cam (1) of the
air valve actuator.
During level 1 burner operation, the
waste gas temperature should be
monitored. It is important to avoid
allowing the temperature to drop
below dew point.
