Furnace cutout device fault and
control programme indication
The programme flow symbols on the
cam plate are read through the viewing
glass (3) on the front of the device. In
the event of faults the timer stops.
The symbol shown on the cam plate
shows both the position in the
programme and the type of fault,
according to the following key.
Pre-start-up test
Before the burner is put into operation
the following tests and checks should
be performed
· Heat generator manufacturer's
operating instructions
· Setting of:
Temperature control device
Pressure control device
Limiter
Safety control device
· Gas connection pressure min. 20
mbar
· Imperviousness of the gas-carrying
elements
· De-airing of the fuel carrying leads
· Open waste gas paths, sufficient
fresh air supply
Test of the burner programme flow
before the first gas release
· Close manual cut-off valve to gas
compact unit
· Shut down the burner through
disconnection of electricity
· Unscrew plug "A" (1) at the gas
compact unit
· Lift up the plug locking plate and pull
the plug out of the housing. Also
release p
threaded joint and pull out

· Set up a bridge between binder 1 and 3
· Reconnect electricity
· Start up the burner through turning
on the heat generator and test the
programme flow
· The fan operates with a lag according
to the position of the furnace cutout
device
· Preaeration time (30 s)
· Preignition time (3 s)
· Open solenoid valves
· Safety time (3 s)
· Fault cutout after the safety time with
locking of the furnace cutout device
(fault light 2 lights up)
· Turn off the burner through
disconnection of the electricity
· Remove bridge once again from plug
"A"
· Reconstruct plug "A" in reverse order
and connect to the gas compact unit.
· Reconnect electricity
· Release furnace cutout device
through pressing the release button
