The VECTRON F 02.118 DUO and
VECTRON F 02.180 DUO burners are
designed for burning natural gas in
accordance with category l3P.
Design and functions are in
accordance with the valid guidelines
and regulations. Assembly, initial
operation and maintenance may only
be carried out by authorised specialists
who must comply with the valid
guidelines and regulations.
The burner's design and functions are
in accordance with EN 676.
Description of burner
The VECTRON F 02.118 DUO and
VECTRON F 02.180 DUO burners are
two-stage fully automatic working
burners with monobloc design. They are
suitable for fitting to all heat generators in
accordance with DIN 4702 / EN 303,
within their power range of same.

To ensure the safe, environmentally
correct and energy-saving operation of
the system, the following standards
must be complied with:
EN 676
Gas burner with fan
EN 226
Connection of forced-draught
atomising oil and gas burners to heat
generators
EN 60335-1
Safety of electrical equipment for
domestic use and similar purposes.
The gas pipes and valves must be laid
according to DVGW-TVR/TRGI-gas.
Installation location
The burner may not be operated in
rooms or areas containing aggressive
vapours (e.g. hair spray,
perchloroethylene, carbon
tetrachloride), large amounts of dust or
substantial air moisture (e.g.
wash-houses).
An air supply opening must be
available:
– up to 50 kW: 150 cm²

– for any further amount of kW: +2 cm²
Variations may arise as a result of local
regulations.
The guarantee does not cover
damage resulting from:
· Inappropriate use
· Incorrect assembly or repair by
purchasers or third parties, including
the use of parts from outside
manufacturers.
· Operation of the system at excessive
pressure.
Final delivery and instructions for
use
The firing system manufacturer must
supply the operator with operating and
maintenance instructions on or before
final delivery.These should clearly
displayed in the area in which the heat
generator is installed. The address and
telephone number of the nearest
after-sales service agent is to be
entered.
Notes for the operator
The system should be inspected by a
specialist at least once a year. It is
strongly recommended to take out a
service contract to guarantee regular
servicing.
