Burner flange assembly
The burner flange (10) is equipped with
oblong slots (11) and can be used for a
hole circle Ø of 150 -180
mm. The dimensions comply with
standard EN 226. The burner flange
gasket and the fastening screws are
enclosed with the burner.
· Install the burner flange with flange
gasket on the heat generator.
· Insert pressure draw-off pipe (15) for
furnace pressure in the connecting
flange and secure using holding plate
and two screws (16).
Burner assembly
· Push burner into the connecting
flange.
For assembly of burner F 02.180 DUO
the burner tube (12) with flame pot must
be detached from the burner.
· Undo the two fastening screws (13)
by two or three turns.

· Twist and remove the burner pipe.
Unscrew screw (14) and remove with
nut.
· Remove flame pot from the burner
tube.
· Push burner tube into the connecting
flange, replace flame pot and secure
using screw and nut.
· Insert burner in the boiler door and
secure with 4 screws.
· The insertion depth of the burner
head is adapted to the respective
furnace geometry through the
adjustable burner tube in the burner
flange.
· When tightening the locking screw
(17), lift the burner slightly.
· Burner insertion depth.
Adjust the insertion depth of the flame
tube in the furnace according to the
furnace manufacturer's instructions.
The burner head is pre-adjusted by the
manufacturer. According to the
requirements of the plant, post-adjustment
might be required.
For this the gas tube must be completely
removed with the burner head.
The basic setting dimension A relates to
turbulator/ diffusor setting scale value = 0
Adjustment of the ignition electrode
and ionisation electrode
Check the distances indicated
according to the figure below.
