Consequently it is very important to positively
reconnect each cable to thè corresponding tag
when
thè
cables
have
been dismantled or
disconnected, respecting thè different colours (see
fig. 16); on this purpose consult thè electrical
diagrams

"operation
and
Maintenance"
Manuals.
B) Checkings to be carried out in thè case of
troubles on thè ignition.
In thè case of a detective ignition, which grounds
cannot be immediately located with an inspection
at first sight, first replace thè electronic control box
with a corresponding one in perfect condition. The
disconnecting and connecting operations for thè
replacement of thè electronic control box should
be carried out with thè engine cut-out.
If thè replacement restores thè ignition, thè anomaly
is to be found on thè electronic control box that
should be obviously replaced.
If thè ignition is faulty check thè generator and thè
component parts of thè backplate as follows:
Inspect at first sight connections, backplate and
couplings; then by means of an ohmmeter that can
measure resistances from 1 up to 1000 ohms verify
thè charge coil and thè pick-up as follows:
Connect thè tester between thè green cable and thè
white one (in fig. 17): it should be measured
continuity and an ohmic value (430±30 ohms).
Es ist deshalb notwendig und wichtig, bei Kontroll-
arbeiten oder Kabellòsung, beim Einbau jedes Kabel
an der entsprechenden Klemme korrekt zu befesti-
gen, und die entsprechenden Farben zu beachten.

B) Auszufùhrende Kontrolle, wenn die Ziindung
nicht regelmàssig funktioniert.
Wenn die Ziindung schlecht oder garnicht funktio¬
niert, und wenn dessen Grùnde nicht sofort zu
ermitteln sind, die Elektronik abbauen und mit einer
anderen, die sicher einwandfrei funktioniert, er-
setzen. Dabei beachten, dass der Motor ausgeschal-
tet ist.
Funktioniert jetzt die Ziindung einwandfrei, so ist die
Stòrung der Elektronik zuzuschreiben und mu6t
diese selbstverstàndlich ausgetauscht werden.
Funktioniert die Ziindung trotzdem nicht, ist es
nòtig, folgende Kontrollen vorzunehmen: Verbin-
dungen, Ankerplatte und Stecker auf sichtbare
Màngel priifen. Mit einem Widerstand von 1 bis 1000
Ohm geeignetem Ohmmeter, Ladespule und "Pick-
Up" wie folgt priifen:
Das Messgeràt zwischen dem griinen Kabel und dem
weissen verbinden (Bild 17): man muB die Kontinuitàt
und die Widerstandwerte (430±30 Ohm) messen.
Das Messgeràt zwischen dem roten Kabel und dem
weissen verbinden (Bild 18): man muB die Kontinuitàt
und die Widerstandwerte (56±5 Ohm) messen.
Bianco = White/Weiss/Blanc
Rosso = Red/Rosso/Rouge
Verde = Green/Grun/Vert
Candela = Sparking plug/Zùndkerze/Bougie

lorsque on
réalise le
remontage, que les branchements soient effectués
correctement, c'est à dire que chaque càble soit
inséré de nouveau avec le terminal dans le loge-
ment avec le point de couleur correspondant (voir
fig. 16).
B) Vérifications à effectuer en cas d'irregularltés
d'allumage.
Au cas où l'allumage ne fonctionne pas ou fonc-
tionne irrégulièrement, dont les causes ne peuvent
pas ètre immédiatement individuées, il faut procè¬
der d'abord au replacement du bloc électronique.
Se rappeler que ces opérations doivent ètre effec-
tuées le moteur étant arrèté.
Si le remplacement rétablit le fonctionnement de
l'allumage, l'anomalie sera surement due au bloc
électronique qui doit ètre évidemment remplacé.
Dans le cas où le non - fonctionnement persiste,
effectuer, après un examen à vue des connexions
et du stator, des mesures sur la bobine de charge
et sur le capteur avec un ohmmètre qui peut
mesurer entre 1 et 1000 ohm, comme suit:
Brancher l'ohmmètre entre le càble vert et le càble
blanc (Fig. 17): l'instrument doit marquer la conti-
nuité du Circuit en mésurant une valeur ohmique
de (430±30 ohm). Brancher l'instrument entre le
càble rouge et blanc (Fig. 18): on doit y avoir la
continuité et une valeur ohmique de (56±5 ohm).
