In most situations, it is better to use the Automatic Focus feature,
as it enables you to concentrate on the creative side of your
shooting.

Manual focusing is made necessary by certain conditions, for
tomatic focusing is inadequate.
(Auto Focus) mode is set automatically when you switch
on the camcorder.

if you are inexperienced with camcorders, we recommend that
you use the Auto Focus mode.
Mariual Focusing

Inthe following cases you should obtain better results by
adjusting the focus manually.
A picture containing several objects,
some close to the camcorder, others
further away.
A person enveloped in fog or
- surrounded by snow.
Aperson behind a window.
Very shiny or glossy surfaces like
a car.

Conditions in which there is a strong
contrast between the right and
left-hand parts of the picture.

or quickly like a sports person or crowd.

comes into sharp focus.
You can get a sharp picture after
zoom out.
To return to. AF(Auto Focus), press

Aufnahmemodus zur Menta
+ Verwenden Sie vorzugsweise die automatische Fokuseinstellung,
da Sie sich dann besser auf die kreative Seite Ihrer Aufnanme
konzenirieren kénnen.
+ Bej bestimmten Bedingungen ist die automatische Fokuseinstellung

empfehlen wir die Verwendung der automatischen Fokuseinstellung.

+ In den folgenden Situationen erzielen Sie mit der manuellen
Fokuseinstellung bessere Ergebnisse:
a. Eine Bild mit mehreren Objekten in
unterschiedlicher Entfemung zum
Camcorder.
. Eine Person im Nebel oder im Schnee.
. Eine Person hinter einer Glasscheibe.
. Sehr helle oder glanzende
Oberilachen (z. B . Autolack).
. Bei starkem Kontrast zwischen der
rechten und der linken Bildhalfte.
. Personen oder Objekte in oli
schneller Bewegung (z. B. Sportler,
Menschenmenge).
. Schalten Sie den Camcorder in den
Aufnahmemodus (siehe Seite 17).
. Driicken Sie die Taste MF/AF.
. Zoomen Sie in den Nahaufnahmen-
Bereich (Zoom-Einsteller in Richtung T
schieben).
. Drehen Sie den Einsteller fur den
manuellen Fokus, bis das Bild auf dem
Suchermonitor schart abgebildet wird.
. Wenn Sie auszoomen (Zoom-Einsteller
in Richtung W schieben), (erhalten Sie
ein schariés Bild).
. Um zur automatischen
Fokuseingtellung 2umerzukehren,
dricken Sie nochmals die Taste MF/AF.
