Preparing
Camcorder vorbereiten
There are two ways to connect power source.
- Using the AC Power Adaptor and DC Cable: used for indoor
shooting.

Sie kénnen den Camcorder auf zwei Arten mit Strom versorgen:
- Bei Innenaufnahmen kénnen Sie den Camcorder iiber das DC- AnschluBkabei
und den Netzadapter an eine Steckcose anschlieBen.

1. Connect the AC Power Adaptor to a wall
socket.
Note: The plug and wall socket type can be
different according to the regional conditions.

Connect the DC Cable to jack of
the AC Power Adaptor.
3. Connect the other end of the DC Cable to
the camcorder.
4. To set the camcorder to the CAMERA made.
a. Hold down the tab of the switch and push
the switch to the CAMERA position.
b. Set the LOCK/STANDBY switch to
STANDBY.
c. Make sure that the Lens Cap is opened.
(The Lens Cap is opened automatically with
your selection of power switch to CAMERA
position in case of VP-A34/A850)
d. Make sure that the image appears
in the viewtinder.
Note: If the adaptor is used next to a TV or the camcorder,
it may cause the TV or camcorder to emit noise-move
the adaptor away from the TV, camcorder or the antenna cable.
- Using the Battery Pack: used for outdoor shooting.

2. Verbinden Sie das DC-AnschluBkabel mit dem
Netzadapter.
3. Verbinden Sie das andere Ende des DC-AnschluBkabe
mit dem Camcorder.
4. Schalten Sie den Camcorder wie foigt in den Aufnahmi
Bereitschaftsmodus:
a. Driicken Sie auf die rote Zunge am Schalter flr den
Betriebsmodus und stellen Sie den Schalter auf
CAMERA.
b. Stellen Sie den Schalter LOCK/STANDBY auf STANDt
¢. Stelleri Sie sicher, da@ die Objektivkappe abgenomme:
bzw. gedftnet wurde. (Bei VP-AS4/A850 wird die
Objektivkappe automatisch gedffnet, wenn Sie den
Schalter fiir den Betriebsmodus auf Position CAMERA
seizen.
d. Stellen Sie sicher, da das Bild auf dem
Suchermoniior wiedergegeben wird.
is: Wird der Adapter in unmittelbarer Nahe eines Femsehers oder
des Camcorders eingesetzt, so kénnen Stérgerdusche im
Fernseher oder Camcorder auftreten. Entfernen Sie den
Adapter vom Fernseher, Camcorder oder Antennenkabel.
