The following conditions must be met at the linear unit's installation
site:
n The substrate and the mounting surfaces are designed for
static and dynamic loads.
The installation site has a smooth floor area, is free from vibra-

tions, oscillations or shocks, and is moisture-resistant.
n Sufficient lighting is available.
n The installation site is clean and dry, and free from dust and
objects.
n The atmosphere must be free from solvents.
n All of the connections required on site are available.

The substrate must be prepared for the linear unit being fixed

1. Insert clamping bars (Fig. 14/1) into the slot of the guide
profile.
Depending on the length of the linear unit, 2
or more clamping bars must be inserted on
each side of the guide profile (Fig. 14/2).
