Only persons who can be expected to reliably complete the tasks
are approved for all work. Persons whose reactions are impaired
due to drugs, alcohol or medication, for example, are not approved.
In this manual, the following staff qualifications are listed for the
different tasks:
Assembly staff
The assembly staff are the persons tasked by the operator with the
assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of the linear unit and
its options. The operator must ensure that the staff deployed are
qualified to carry out the assembly work.
Based on their professional training, knowledge and experience, as
well as their knowledge of the relevant regulations, the assembly
staff must be capable of carrying out work assigned to them and of
independently identifying and avoiding potential hazards.
The assembly staff are specifically trained for the area of respon-
sibility they work in and are aware of the relevant standards and
regulations.
