Warning!
• The housing (e.g. removing the controller or the distributor drive) of Liquiport 2000 Ex may only
be opened by E+H Service.
• The battery compartment may be opened and the battery may be charged outside the Ex-area
only.
• If you open the hose pump while the sampler is in operation, there is the danger of your fingers
being crushed!
• For this reason, make sure that the sampler has been taken out of service (activate "Off" switch,
→ Fig. 8) before opening the hose pump. The sampler is no longer in operation once the LC dis-
play has gone out.
• Secure the sampler against unintentional start-up whilst you carry out work on the open hose
pump.
Caution!
If you take the device out of service for an extended period (> 2 months), please remove the pump
hose!
Replacing the pump hose
During operation, the material of the pump hose is subject to natural wear and tear. For this reason,
check the pump hose for leaks at regular intervals. If the pump hose is leaking, replace it in accord-
ance with the separate installation instructions. The installation instructions are provided with the
delivery of the pump hose package.
Cleaning the device
Always switch off the device before you clean it. Use only a cleaning agent which you are sure will
not damage the mechanical and electrical equipment.
Changing the battery
Proceed as explained in 3.4 "Installation instructions".
