Storage
Observe the following points:
• The device must be packed in shockproof packaging for storage (and transport). The original pack-
aging offers the best protection for this.
• The permitted storage temperature is −20...+60 °C (preferably +20 °C).

Installation
3.3.1
Dimensions
You can find the dimensions of the sampler in the Section "Mechanical construction" on Page 89.
3.3.2
Mounting location
When mounting the device, please observe the following points:
• Position the device on a level surface.
• Protect the device against additional heat (e.g. radiators).
• Protect the device against mechanical vibration.
• Protect the device against strong magnetic fields.
3.3.3
Hydraulic connection
Requirements of the sampling point:
• Do not connect the sampling hose to pressurised systems.
• Use the suction filter to impede coarse and abrasive solids and solids which can cause clogging.
• Immerse the suction hose in the direction of flow.
• Take the samples at a representative point (turbulent flow; not directly at the bottom of the chan-
nel).
Useful sampling accessories
• Suction filter:
Impedes the entry of coarse solids and solids which can cause clogging.
• Suspension kit:
For suspending and fixing the sampler in a manhole shaft.
