Sample volume calibration
The sample volume must be calibrated if:
• The volume set in the controller does not match the sample quantity taken,
• Or the pump hose has been changed.
Note!
To calibrate the sample volume, a measurement beaker with a volume of min. 200 ml is required.
Carry out the calibration as follows:

1.
Switch the device on (see Section 6.2).
2.
Connect the sampling hose to the device and
place in a full container of water (see
Section 3.3 and Section 3.4)
3.
Remove the pump hose already installed from
the hose feeder (→ Fig. 12, item A) and feed it
into the measurement beaker (→ Fig. 12, item
B).
4.
In the device controller, call up the CALIBRA-
TION menu level (→ Fig. 13; via SETUP -
SERVICE - CALIBRATION).
5.
In the CAL.VOL. menu item (→ Fig. 13, item
A), enter the desired calibration volume.
6.
Select the "DOSING VOL" menu item
(→ Fig. 13, item B).
7.
Start sampling by selecting the SAMPLE func-
tion from the picklist (→ Fig. 13, item D).
Wait until the sampling sequence has ended.
8.
Read off the sample volume in the measure-
ment beaker.
9.
In the CALIBRATION menu level, MEAS.
VOL. now appears instead of DOSING VOL.
Select MEAS. VOL. Search for the "ENTER"
command in the picklist that appears.
10. Enter the sample volume measured in the con-
troller.
11. Check the calibration sequence by repeating
steps 7 and 8 and repeat the calibration if nec-
essary.
12. Now exit the menu levels CALIBRATION and
SERVICE.
13. Put the pump hose back into the hose feeder
until the stop (→ Fig. 12, item A).
