Installation instructions
Note!
The unit is always shipped with the battery removed. The battery must therefore be fitted before
the unit is initially commissioned.
Warning!
The battery compartment may be opened and the battery may be charged outside the Ex-area only.
Installing the battery
1.
Unscrew the battery compartment cover (→ Fig. 2, item b) with an Allen key (4 mm).

Place the battery into the battery compartment.
3.
Connect the connector in the device to the battery.

Make sure the connections are secure.
5.
Once the battery has been successfully connected, replace the battery compartment cover
(→ Fig. 2, item b).
6.
Make sure that the battery compartment is well sealed and both screws are screwed down
tight.
Water connections
Mount the device according to the installation conditions → Section 3.3.

Open the unit lid by releasing the front latch.
3.
Lay the sampling hose from the sampling point to the device.
Note!
Please observe the requirements of a sampling point, as specified in 3.3 "Installation".
4.
Screw the sampling hose to the hose connection on the unit (→ Fig. 2, item m).

Post-installation check
Ensure that the battery connections, the sampling hose and the pump hose are attached correctly
and securely. Make sure that the sampling hose has been correctly
laid according to → Fig. 3 from the sampling point to the unit.
