1. Wi-Fi connection tutorial
MKS Laser Tool Function Introduction (Installation file in TF Card or USB flash disk
supplied by manufacturer):
a) To enable the machine to connect Wi-Fi.
b) To add position preview code for the GCODE file exported from LaserGRBL.
c) To flash firmware of the motherboard.
Install the Software
Double click the installation file to initiate installation, click "Next" all the way until
installation completed.
a) Connect Wi-Fi for the Machine
1.1 Connect the computer and machine with USB data cable.
1.2 Click the "MKS Laser Tool" software just installed and click "Wi-Fi Configuration Tool"
to enter the setting page.
1.3 Choose the right COM port number and click "Connect".
1.4 Type in the account name in the field "Wi-Fi Name: "
1.5 Type in the Wi-Fi password in the field "Wi-Fi Password: "
1.6 Click "Connect Wi-Fi" to connect Wi-Fi for the machine.
1.7 Click "Get IP" to obtain the IP address.
1.8 Connect control and operate the machine on mobile APP with IP address just obtained.
NOTE: When get "failed" massage, please select the right COM port number, check if
USB cable is connected or re-install the CH340ER program.
The computer and mobile phone should use the same Wi-Fi signal and we suggest use
hotspot from mobile phone.
