6 Commissioning
6.1 Function check
If you can answer the following questions with YES, then you can commission the device
 Chap. 6.2. If the answer is NO, then please refer to the appropriate sections:
General
Is the power supply connected?
Is the sampling hose correctly laid to the sampling point?
Is the sampling hose correctly connected to the unit?
When connecting a digital input signal, digital output signal and/or analog input signal
Is the signal cable correctly wired and connected?
6.2 Switching on the device
When you connect the power supply, the display lights up and signals "UNIT OFF". When you press
the operating key beneath the "ON" field, the message "UNIT ON" appears. The device is
operational.
6.2.1 Commissioning the multi-parameter probe (optional)
The energy supply and the data exchange of a connected multi-parameter probe must be activated
by means of the controls.
Note!
The probe can only be switched on and off if a sampling programme is not active in the controller.
