Configuring the internal datalogger
The ASP station 2000 peristaltic has an internal datalogger (378 kByte RAM ring memory) in which
the following measured values are saved:
• Analog signal (e.g. flow signal)
• Sampling log (sample volume, bottle filling time, events...)
• Measured values of a connected multi-parameter probe (optional)
The minimum scan rate of the internal datalogger is 1 second for the analog signal and 1 minute for
the measurements of the multi-parameter probe. You can read out the contents of the internal
datalogger to a PC via the RS232 interface using the PC operating software ReadWin
Section 5.5).

The internal datalogger is activated and configured as follows:
1.
Under SETUP « BASIC SETTINGS, select the MEM. INTERVAL item
2.
"Amount In": Set the memory interval for the analog signal and multiparameter measurement
(optional). The signals are not recorded with a memory interval of 0000 seconds (factory
setting).
3.
"Capacity": The capacity of the ring memory (in hours) is shown automatically on the display.
4.
"Reset": You can use this parameter to configure whether the data logger is cleared when the
AUT button is pressed. "AUT Button" option: The ring memory is cleared when the AUT
button is pressed. "No" option: The ring memory is only cleared if certain parameters have been
changed (see note below).
5.
"Mode": The data recorded for the analog input and the probe etc. can be saved even if a
program is not active. For this purpose, you must set the "Mode" parameter to "Continuous".
The device saves to the ring memory as soon as it is in the "Unit On" mode.
6.
Press ESC to exit the setup.
Pressing the AUT key activates the internal datalogger.
Note!
If the "AUT Button" function was selected for the "Reset" item, all the data saved in the internal data
logger (ring memory) up to that point are deleted when the AUT button is pressed. The ring memory
is always cleared if one of the following parameters is changed on the device:
• Analog Input: Dec. Point, Range, Units, Signal
• Distribution: Distribution Mode, Volume
• Multi-parameter Probe: All settings
• Digital input: If a digital volume input is used and the related decimal position is changed.
If saving to the ring memory is active, a small hash symbol flashes on the second line of the display.
