Date/time
The date and time of the thermostat controller have to be set to ensure that the thermostat functions
correctly.
The date and time are set in the "Date/time" section. The user has two options to choose from:
• The current time and date settings of the PC can be accepted
• A freely selectable time and date can be entered
If the PC time should be accepted ("Accept PC time" checkbox activated), the user does not have
the option of entering a time.
The newly configured time is transmitted to the controller by means of the "Transmit date/time"
button.
The current time of the controller is displayed in the "Thermo control actual time" field so the user
can check whether the time was accepted correctly.

Thermostat parameters
The parameters for regulating the temperature in the sample compartment are specified in the
"Thermostat" section.
The thermostat is switched on and off by means of the "Operation" box.
The "Target temp." slide control is used to set the desired sample compartment temperature
The defrost time can be set with the "Defrost" slide control. Defrosting is started at 4 a.m. every day
and is active for the set time. If the refrigeration system is active at least 6 hours by 4 p.m., a defrost
cycle is started again at 4 p.m.
