● Model A1 = Fireplace with automatically closing
doors
For safety reasons, systems connected to a single
chimney must be fitted with an automatically closing
door (model A1). It is forbidden, for example, to use
the fireplace in open-door mode for grilling food. To
add wood to the fire or to clean the ceramic glass, the
door must be kept open against a predefined closing
force. Under no circumstances should the door be kept
open using a wedge or other blocking device.
Any interference with the automatic closing
mechanism will render the warranty null and
void.
This type of connection is not allowed in
France.
● Open hearth operation:
When used as an open hearth the fireplace must al-
ways remain guarded.
The temperature of surfaces such as the ce-
ramic glass door and the door frame increases
rapidly during operation and you are advised to
wear gloves when handling the door.
● Children should be warned of all potential dangers.
Keep children away from the fireplace when
it is lit.
● If a chimney fire occurs:
→ Close all air intakes immediately
→ Call the fire brigade as promptly as possible.
→ Have the chimney flue checked by a professional.
