4.4 Cleaning and Disinfection Instruction:

WARNING:
 Do not use bleach or products that contain bleach to clean the device. Injury or
equipment damage can occur.
 After each use, clean the device with alcohol-based wipes.
 Do not put the device into water. Equipment damage can occur.
 Use a cloth and a quaternary ammonium disinfecting/cleaning solution to clean
and disinfect the device.
 Read and follow the manufacturer's recommendation for low-level disinfection.
 Read and follow the cleaning product's instructions. Use caution in areas where
liquid can get into the mechanism.
 Wipe the device with a clean, dry cloth.
 Make sure that the device is dry before you store it or use it again.
CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE PADS IN ANY LIQUID
CAUTION: DO NOT USE BLEACH OR PHENOLICS ON PADS

Clean and disinfect all surfaces using a quaternary ammonium

disinfecting/cleaning solution following the manufacturer's recommendation
for achieving low-level disinfection.
Read the cleaning product's directions and follow the instructions on the label.

Use caution in areas where fluid migration may occur.
•
Wipe device with a clean, dry cloth.
•
Make certain the product is dry prior to reinstalling to avoid damage.

Automatic Cleaning Procedure for AR-1650-02 & AR-1650-03
1. Prepare the detergent Neodisher® Mediclean Forte at ¼ oz/per gallon of
lukewarm tap water in an ultrasonic bath.
2. Fully immerse the devices in the prepared detergent and sonicate for 10
minutes.
3. Remove the devices from the detergent and transfer them into the washer for
processing.
4. The washer parameters that have been validated are shown below in Table.
The motor speed should be set to high.
