2. To insert the anchor apply slight downward force on
the anchor while rotating the handle in a clockwise
direction and maintaining the same axial alignment
throughout insertion until the distal laser line on the
anchor inserter shaft is flush with the bone.
3. In hard bone, it is first necessary to predrill a hole.
Using the 2.2mm drill bit, drill into the bone until the
distal shoulder on the drill bit is flush with the bone.
Remove the drill bit and set aside.
a. Insert the Ti anchor into the hole created by
the drill bit while maintaining the same axial
alignment through insertion.
b. Rotate the inserter handle of the anchor in a
clockwise direction until the distal laser line on
the anchor inserter shaft is flush with the bone.
4. Open the slide cover on the inserter handle and
remove suture card.
5. Remove inserter from anchor by pulling straight
back on handle.
6. Apply tension (normal force) on suture lengths.
EXCESSIVE FORCE MAY OVERLOAD THE
ANCHOR OR SUTURE.
7. Use the suture provided for soft tissue fixation.
STORAGE
Store below 25°C (77°F). Do not use after
expiration date.
STERILIZATION
This product is provided sterile. Do not resterilize. A
DePuy Mitek ANCHOR MUST NEVER BE REUSED.

1. TITANIO (Ti). Este es un anclaje de sutura roscado
de titanio previamente cargado sobre un conjunto
insertador desechable para la fijación de un hilo de
sutura calibre 2 al hueso. El implante se suministra
estéril y listo para el uso.
