Per rimuovere il filtro montato sul portafiltro, scalzarlo facendo
leva con l'apposito utensile in dotazione.
To remove the filter from the filter holder, detach the filter by
using the supplied screwdriver to prise it off.
Pressare in modo deciso ed uniforme il caffè nel filtro utilizzando
il pressino in dotazione.
Use the tamper provided to press down firmly and evenly on the
coffee in the filter.

In caso di preparazioni con cialda ESE (solo con filtro per caffè espres-
so singolo), piegare la linguetta della cialda ESE verso l'alto e inserire
la cialda ESE premendola all'interno del filtro utilizzando il pressino
in dotazione (le cialde ESE illy devono essere inserite con il logo illy
rivolto verso l'alto).
For beverages made using ESE pods (with the single espresso coffee
filter only), turn the ESE pod tab up and insert the ESE pod by press-
ing it into the filter using the supplied press (illy ESE pods must be
placed with the illy logo facing up).

Inserire il portafiltro nel gruppo erogazione caffè e ruotarlo verso
destra fino al blocco in corrispondenza dell'asola. Se a fine corsa il
portafiltro non è nella posizione indicata, è necessario regolare la
dosatura di caffè, aumentandola se il portafiltro si chiude troppo, o
diminuendola se si chiude troppo poco.
Insert the filter holder in the dispensing spout and rotate to the right
until it locks near the slot. If the filter is unable to lock into the proper
position the amount of coffee needs to be adjusted, add more coffee
if the filter holder rotates past the locking position or remove coffee if
it is unable to reach the locking position.

In caso di preparazioni con caffè macinato, versare nel filtro per
caffè espresso singolo un misurino raso di caffè (equivalente a
7 grammi), o due misurini in caso di utilizzo del filtro per caffè
espresso doppio.
When using ground coffee, place a single level spoon (7 grams)
of coffee in the single espresso filter, or two spoons if using the
double espresso filter.

Posizionare il supporto tazzine sopra alla griglia poggia tazza e
sotto il gruppo erogazione caffè. Posizionare sul supporto tazzine
una tazzina in caso di erogazione caffè espresso singolo o due taz-
zine in caso di erogazione caffè espresso doppio.
Place the small cup support over the cup support grid and under
the coffee dispensing spout. If dispensing a single espresso place
one espresso cup on the small cup support, or two espresso cups if
dispensing a double espresso.
