1 Shows the channel and sub‐channel number; Sub‐channel numbers are present e.g. for a CAN
bus connection.
2 Shows the presence and use of TEDS sensors
3 Symbol for the sensor type
4 Description of the amplifier input setting
5 Calls the TEDS Editor if TEDS sensors are present, otherwise the dialog is called to set the data
for the amplifier input (sensor type, excitation voltage, scaling, etc.).
6 Currently set output unit (from TEDS, sensor database or manual). You can convert the sensor
unit using the arrow on the right in this field, e.g. from N to kN.
7 Indicates whether a zero balance has been carried out and that the zero value is subtracted from
the current measured value. If necessary, edit the zero value using Edit in the group Zero.
8 Displays the measured value and whether the sensor is correctly connected.

Procedure for setting a QuantumX module
1. Connect the transducers or signal sources.
The connection plans can be found in the QuantumX operating manual.
2. Connect your PC with the module(s) to be operated with CANape.
3. Configure the measurement chains via TEDS or with the sensor database.
4. Assign unique signal and channel names (these names are required by
CANape and are displayed as signal sources).
5. Specify an NTP time source for the QuantumX modules.
This setting must only be carried out once for each QuantumX module,
see Section 5.11, Page 27.
Optional settings
1. Specify the filter settings.
2. Perform a zero balance.
3. Add your own transducers or signals (user database).
4. Have the measured values displayed graphically (Scope).
