QuantumX Assistant as described above to create a new description file and
then accept the file again in CANape.
The existing channels, i.e. all channels with channel names, are displayed in
the CANape database editor under the QuantumX driver and the respective
device names (Fig. 5.5). The main channel settings are visible as comments.

You can edit the device names in the QuantumX Assistant via the device
context menu (Modules window). The name is supplemented by the
significant figures of the UUID (Universally Unique Identifier, identical with the
serial number and MAC address) for CANape. Channels without names
("Unknown" in the QuantumX Assistant) are not displayed.
5.2 The QuantumX Assistant
The QuantumX Assistant supports you in configuring the QuantumX modules
and offers you the possibility of observing the acquired signals. Modules that
have calculation functions, or which can output signals, can also be
configured in the QuantumX Assistant.
