The NTP time server is also installed when the HBM software is installed. The
PC is set here as the time source for the NTP time server. Use the Meinberg
setup program if you want to have different time sources
(http://www.meinberg.de) or edit the configuration file ntp.conf manually.
Procedure
1. In the QuantumX Assistant component window Modules, right‐click on a
module and select Edit time source (Fig. 5.14).

2. Select NTP in Active time source type (Fig. 5.15).
3. Enter the IP address of your PC in IP address.
4. Set the synchronicity threshold to a value that can still be tolerated as a
time delay, e.g. 10000 s.
If the time delay of the module is greater than the time set here, no
measurements will be possible. Do not enter a value that is unrealistic,
otherwise measurements will be stopped.
5. Click on OK.
6. Repeat the procedure if necessary for the other QuantumX modules.
