5.4 Connecting with QuantumX again
Once you have set up a connection with QuantumX and saved the settings in
CANape, the QuantumX Assistant is called up when the QuantumX
configuration is started again and the connection with the previously
connected device(s) is restored. If module settings were changed, the settings
saved in the description file can be transmitted to the QuantumX module
again: In the dialog, displayed when the Assistant is started via CANape, drag
the corresponding settings file on the left side to the QuantumX module on the
right side.

This sets up the QuantumX module with the same settings saved in the
description file.
5.5 Creating a user‐specific sensor database
The sensor database is used to adjust the measurement chain to the sensor
used. You only need to enter the characteristic values of a sensor once, you
can then assign the sensor by mouse‐click or Drag & Drop to the channel it is
connected to. The measuring amplifier is then set to the characteristic values
of this transducer so that the measured value is correctly scaled and
displayed with the unit of the measured physical parameter.
Fig. 5.11 shows the entry for a force sensor as an example. Enter a name in
the Description with which you can uniquely identify the sensor, e.g.
including the serial number. The remaining data concerns the connection type
(Bridge type: Full bridge), the Circuit type (6‐wire) and the desired or
