Using your drill press
WARNING: If you are not familiar with this kind of
machine, take advice from an experimented per-
son. In any case you should have read and under-
stood the safety and operational instruction before
attempting to operate this product.
Pivoting the table
Tip: The inclination display (A) only serves as orienta-
tion for a rough angular adjustment. For precision work
suitable goniometers must be used.
1. In order to place the drilling table (B) in the tilted
position, loosen the hex-nut (C) with a flat spanner
(SW19), remove the screw (D) used for 90° fixing
and set the desired table angle. Retighten the hex-
nut (C).
Adjusting table height
1. Loosen the table support lock handle (1).
2. Adjust the table (B) to the desired height. Use the
adjustment handle for height adjustment (2).

Re-tighten the table locking (1).
Note: it is better to lock the table to the column in a po-
sition so that the tip of the drill bit is just slightly above
the top of the workpiece
Installing drill bits
1. Inser1 drill bit intc chuck far enough to obtain maxi-
mum gripping of chuck jaws. (When using a small
drill bit do not insert it so far that the jaws touch the
flutes -spiral grocves -of the drill bit. )
2. Make sure that the drill bit is centered in the chuck
before tightening the chuck with the chuck key.

3. Tighten the chuck with the key so that the drill bit
cannot slip during the work.

Avertissement:
Si vous n'êtes pas familiarisé avec ce type de machine,
prenez conseil auprès d'un spécialiste. Avant de travail-
ler avec cette machine vous devez dans tous les cas
avoir lu et compris les instructions d'utilisation et les
consignes de sécurité.
Inclinaison de la table
Remarque: L'indicateur d'inclinaison (A) ne sert qu'à
l'orientation pour le réglage grossier de l'angle. Pour les
travaux de précision, il convient d'utiliser un rapporteur
approprié.

Pour placer la table (B) à la bonne position,
desserrez la vis à six pans creux (C) avec une clé
à fourche de 19, enlevez la vis (D) qui sert au ré-
glage à 90° et positionnez la table à l'angle désiré.
Resserrez la vis à six pans creux (C).
Réglage de la hauteur de la table
1. Desserrez le blocage de table (1)
2. Placez la table (B) à la hauteur désirée en tournant
la manivelle (2).

Resserrez le blocage de la table (1).
Remarque: nous vous conseillons de régler la table de
manière à ce que la pointe du foret soit juste au-dessus
de la pièce à percer.
Serrage du foret
1. Introduisez le foret suffisamment loin dans le
mandrin de perçage pour que les mors du mandrin
le maintiennent de façon optimale. (en présence
de petits forets veillez à ce que les mâchoires ne
touchent pas les spirales du foret).

Assurez que le foret est placé de manière centrée
dans le mandrin de perçage.
3. Serrez suffisamment le mandrin à l'aide de la clé
à mandrin de façon à ce que les forets ne tournent
pas à vide pendant le perçage.
