Feed handles to the shaft hub
Screw the feed handles (A) tightly into the threaded
holes in the hub.
Installing the chuck
1. Clean the conical hole in the chuck (A) and the
spindle cone with a clean piece of fabric. Make
sure there are no foreign particles sticking to the
surfaces. The slightest piece of dirt on any of
these surfaces will prevent the chuck from seating
properly. This will cause the drill bit to wobble". If
tapered hole in the chuck is extremely dirty, use a
cleaning solvent on the clean cloth.
2. Push the drilling chuck onto the spindle nose as far
as possible.
3. Turn the chuck sleeve anti-clockwise (when
viewed from above) and open the jaws of the drill-
ing chuck.
4. Place a piece of wood on the table and lower the
spindle onto the piece of wood. Press tightly so the
chuck fits precisely.

Tighten the drill on a work bench with the holes of the
base plate to prevent tipping of the machine.
For your own safety, it is highly recommended to install
the machine on a bench or similar.

Vissez les poignées (A) dans les filetages du moyeu
de la broche.
Montage du mandrin de perçage
1. Nettoyez l'ouverture conique du mandrin de
perçage (A) et le cône de broche avec un chiffon
propre. Assurez-vous qu'il n'y a plus d'impuretés
sur les surfaces. La moindre impureté sur l'une
des surfaces empêche le bon maintien du mandrin
de perçage. Cela risque de faire vibrer le foret.
Si l'ouverture conique du mandrin de perçage est
extrêmement encrassée, utilisez un produit de
nettoyage appliqué sur un chiffon propre.

Enfoncez le mandrin à fond dans la broche.
3. Tournez la bague extérieure du mandrin dans le
sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre (en haut
sur la figure) et ouvrez les mors du mandrin
4. Placez un morceau de bois sur la table et faites
descendre la broche jusqu'à toucher le morceau
de bois. Appuyez à fond afin que le mandrin soit
correctement en place.
Montage de la perceuse à colonne sur un établi
Vissez la machine sur l'établi en utilisant les perçages
du socle afin d'éviter que la machine ne bascule.
Pour votre sécurité il est vivement recommandé de fixer
la machine avec des vis sur un établi ou un support
équivalent.
