With some Denso injectors (e.g. 23670-30040),
connecting to the solenoid valve using the supplied
adapter cable 1 684 465 679 is either impossible or
very difficult. In this case, an original Denso adapter
cable can be used as an intermediate adapter. This
Denso adapter cable is a Denso spare part and must
be obtained separately for testing these injectors.
5. Connect CRI-specific adapter cable (1 684 465 844,
1 684 465 679) to the CRI and to the "electrical con-
nection socket".

Route the CRI-specific adapter cable such that it
does not come into contact with the hot hose lines.
6. Plug the inlet filter into the "Test connection for
injection quantity".
7. Close the protective cover.
8. Perform the test.

After the "leak test", the injection chamber must be
fitted to the CRI and the hose line (injection) to the
quick-release coupling on the injection chamber and
to the "test connection for injection quantity" using
the inlet filter. The inlet filter is not available for the
EPS 200 without mounted basic set
1 687 010 397. In this case, the hose line (injection)
should be connected directly to the "test connection
for the injection quantity".

5. Maintenance
5.1

Checking hose lines

Always handle hose lines (high-pressure and low-pres-
sure hose lines) with care and check before use. Hose
lines must be replaced if checking reveals the following
signs of damage:
R
Cracks, brittle areas, abrasion or blistering at the
hose jacket.
R
Kinked hose line.
R
Stiff union nuts or quick-release couplings.
R
Deformed or damaged connection end of hose line
(sealing cone, plug-in nipple, etc.).
R
Leakage at fitting.
R
Corrosion at fitting if strength is reduced as a result.

Damaged hose lines are not to be repaired.
