Displaying mean and total value functions
These functions are available only if:
- the input is configured as otHER SinGL (channel 1)
- the totalizing time parameter is greater than zero (dt > 0) (see step 13)
TOTALIZATION takes place every time the instrument is switched on or after it is reset, and stops when the time specified by parameter dt has
elapsed. The mean value is continuously updated. This value (parameter Au) corresponds to the average of the values measured from the time
totalization begins up to the end of this period.
To display the Mean and Total values starting from MEASUREMENT mode:
- simultaneously press keys
the mean value (Au) is displayed
- press key E
the total value is displayed as a mantissa (on the five-digit display) and an exponent (power of ten on 2-digit display).
Example:
- The total or mean value displayed is updated every second.
The mean and total values are reset simultaneously by one of the following procedures:
- by simultaneously pressing keys
- by remote control via either input contact C1 or C2.
- by changing totalizing time dt.
- automatically, every time the instrument is switched on.
- via a digital connection by means of a supervision program.
ANALOG DATA RETRANSMISSION
On the I3X3Y, the displayed value is retransmitted as an output signal isolated from the input. The signal can be in current (0/20 mA, 4/20 mA)
or in voltage (0/10V).
-Output behavior in case of sensor break and off-range values.
Allowed load impedance:
- current output: 750 Ω max. 0 Ω min.
- voltage output: ∞ max. – min. 1000 Ω
