STEP 1:
Select input type [GauGE]
The input signal (measurement) amplitude is
automatically set at: ± 50 mV.
STEP 2:
Select input type
- parameter [in]
•Lin: linear input signal
•USEr: specific linearization of input signal at max. 25 points.
STEP 3:
Select display resolution
- parameter [dP]
dP = 0 - 0.0 - 0.00 - 0.000 - 0.0000
STEP 4:
Select unit for physical quantity measured
- parameter [Pu] see step 6
STEP 5:
Adjust scale limits (with linear input)
Adjustment range: -10000 to + 20000 points.
- parameter [Lo]: min. scale
- parameter [Hi]: max. scale
STEP 6:
If the USEr type input was selected in step 2, enter the
coordinates of each break point on the specific linearization
table.
This adjustment can be accessed directly from the GauGE menu by entering code 15.
Press the
and
,keys to adjust gauge voltage in the range of 4.5 to 10.2 V (in 1 mV increments). Voltage must be adjusted so that the input signal has
a maximum variation of ± 50 mV.
After configuring the strain-gauge input, check that the power supply selector is in the correct position.
